Hi, welcome.

This is a page I’ve decided to dedicate to one of my passions, music. I thought I’d post my thoughts on music and review gigs I’ve attended and such here. Nothing professional, just things written down by a fan of rock ‘n’ roll.

Who am I, then?

I am a Swedish florist, who loves rock music. It’s as simple as that.
I regularly attend shows around here and the genres vary from classic rock to metal, glam, a bit of sleaze and blues. As long as it’s got some kind of melody and feeling to it, I probably like what I hear. :)

I've been a florist for a couple of years and my life basically is work and gigging. I'm quite lucky to have understanding colleagues who let me dash from work earlier to catch the trains and buses to the shows.
Some people seem to believe you can't be a rocker and a florist, I've shocked some people with my work title. The floristry is a bit of an art form, like music. You need to be creative for the job. :)
And it doesn't affect my job if I wear leather jacket, band t-shirt and boots to work, does it?

Music has always been part of my life, the radio was always on at home and my parents have a general interest in music. You could say I got the music from my parents. Mum’s been a Queen fan since 1974 and also listened to bands like Supertramp, ELO, Sparks, Dire Straits and Depeche Mode, while Dad listened to the ‘classic rock’, such as Deep Purple, Rainbow, Whitesnake, Thin Lizzy, Blue Öyster Cult, Uriah Heep etc. There’s the foundation for my musical interest, that’s what I started with. And the interest has grown wider and deeper over the years.
Why am I writing in English, if I’m Swedish, then? It’s because I have friends from all over the world and want to reach out to them all, if they want to read my thoughts and ramblings.
Well, I believe this is all for now! :)
